1st ASSET conducts second modular training course on Electronic Security Systems. Past participants return to attend modules they had been unable to attend earlier!

1st Academy of Security Science Education & Training Pvt. Ltd. (1st ASSET) conducted its second modular training course on the Fundamentals of Electronic Security Systems from May 18th to 25th, 2011.

The course was attended by professionals from Renukoot, Hyderabad, Dehra Dun, Visakhapatnam, Belgaum, Viramgam, Barmer, Mumbai, and the National Capital Region. Organisations represented included Cairn India, Hindalco Industries, McGraw Hill Co., Matrix Laboratories, and FIL India Business Services (Fidelity), among others. The candidates appreciated the strong component of practical demonstrations of the different technologies presented during the training sessions.

The course was booked to capacity and included several persons who had attended some of the modules in the first course and had now come back to complete the rest of the course by attending the remaining modules. The course attendees were mostly persons with more than five years’ background of working in the security industry, who still felt that they would like to brush up on their knowledge and get a more rounded perspective of the available electronic security systems.

Without exception the trainees all felt that the course had been very useful and that they would unhesitatingly recommend it to others to improve their knowledge.. They all wanted to know when the advanced courses would be held. Mr. GB Singh, Director, 1st ASSET, assured them that such courses would be taken up after assessing demand from the industry and end users.

The introductory course consisted of five modules including (a) Introduction to Security Technology and its Implementation in the Workplace (b) Perimeter Protection, Intrusion Detection & Alarm Systems (c) Access Control & Visitor Management Systems (d) CCTV (e) Command & Control Centres.
